CTS (the Catholic Truth Society) is offering a free online retreat, starting on Ash Wednesday, 22 February.  For more details, see below.

On Ash Wednesday we will begin our Lenten journey.  This season, gifted us by the Church, is a pilgrimage in which, as the late Pope Benedict XVI said, the Lord Himself “accompanies us through the desert of our poverty, sustaining us on our way towards the intense joy of Easter”.

This year, we’d like to invite you to go deeper into the desert of Lent, so that your Easter joy may be even greater.  That is why we have created The CTS Lenten Retreat, a free email retreat in which you will be guided several times a week through Lenten themes.

There will be contemplations on the Mass readings, Lenten prayers and reflections, explanations of the Mass, Stations of the Cross, and Holy Week meditations on the Seven Last Words of Christ.

So, if you’d like to be guided on your Lenten pilgrimage, join our Lenten retreat now.  It is completed free and if you change your mind, you can opt out at any time.
